The casting epoxy resin for wood craftsmen

The casting epoxy resin formulation FlowCast® from ecopoxy® is a very thin and clear mixture with a long processing time. Due to the slow hardening, the casting vents independently - no additional devices such as a vacuum chamber are required.

FlowCast® is suitable for castings between 13 and 38 mm and is clear as water after curing.
Due to the slow curing, the workpiece does not become brittle and can therefore be processed with the same tools that you already have for woodworking.

APPLICATION GUIDE

Tips for using the metallic color pigments:

Mix for at least 2-3 minutes. To avoid curing imperfections, ensure that the pigment does not exceed 3% of the volume or 10% of the weight of the epoxy mixture.

Check every 15-30 minutes during the curing process. If you notice that the pigments are settling, stir gently with a clean tool*. If possible, the tool used for stirring should always be immersed in the epoxy to reduce the entry of air bubbles. Notes for beginners

Metallic pigments create a pearl or iridescent effect when mixed with your epoxy. Different colors can be combined to create a wide range of tones.

The metallic pigments have high coloring properties, so a small amount has a big effect. How much pigment you need depends on the desired effect.

As a rough starting point, you can use the estimates below. Remember that once you've mixed, you can still add pigment, but you can't remove it. So start with a smaller amount and add more as needed.
