Membrane presses
Vacuum membrane presses - veneering without limits
A vacuum membrane press is a full replacement for a hydraulic veneer press. Water "boils" at 97% vacuum at 24°C. A VMP membrane press uses the low boiling point of water at a high vacuum.
Thanks to the clever technology, pressing times of 5-6 minutes are possible with standard white glue, which requires an incredible amount of energy for heating in a conventional veneer press. Special glues are not necessary for this. Problems that occur when using conventional veneer presses (glue penetration, joint opening) do not arise on a vacuum membrane press.
Another advantage: undamaged surfaces! Laminate - without leaving marks - especially on sensitive surfaces, such as high-gloss HPL.
