FAQ - All information about ordering, shipping and payment in the Neureiter online shop

General & Ordering
In addition to the online shop, is personal consultation also available?

Yes, that's exactly what our company is based on. We are both a specialist retailer and an online shop. Personal consultation is available either by phone or email, or we would be happy to meet you in person at our location.

How do I place an order?

Select your desired items in the shop and add them to your shopping cart. Then follow the order process: providing delivery information, payment method, and confirmation. You will then receive an order confirmation via email.

How safe is it to order from you?

In addition to state-of-the-art technology, such as a modern shop system including appropriate security features, we also value the human element in the ordering process. We personally check every order to ensure it is correct. We exclusively use servers located within the EU for data storage.

Can I change or cancel my order afterwards?

Yes — provided the order hasn't been shipped yet. Please contact us as soon as possible (+43 (0) 6244 / 202 99 or by email kontakt@neureiter-maschinen.at) with your order number. Once the order has been shipped, we can process a return. Orders are not processed automatically – we handle them personally and will contact you if anything is wrong.

Do I need a customer account? What are the advantages?

An account is not mandatory — you can also order as a guest. However, with an account you benefit from advantages such as: faster checkout, access to order and shipping status, order history, wish list, etc.

How do I redeem a voucher/discount code?

In the "Shopping Cart" step, you will find fields for "Apply discount code" and "Redeem voucher." Enter your code or voucher number there and click "Redeem." The amount will be immediately deducted from the order total. Please note any applicable terms and conditions (minimum order value, exclusions, etc.).

Can I specify a different delivery address (e.g., workplace, parcel locker)?

Yes – during the ordering process you can specify a different delivery address than your billing address. Please ensure that proper delivery is possible (e.g., correct contact person, availability, etc.).

What tax rate applies to my delivery?

We always indicate the tax rate of the respective delivery country. For example, if the delivery country is Germany, the goods will be charged with 19% VAT.

Shipping & Delivery
Which shipping methods does it offer? Neureiter Maschinen at?

We ship our goods using reliable parcel or freight forwarding services as standard (depending on the size and weight of the item). Smaller tools are usually shipped via parcel service, while machines or large appliances are shipped via freight forwarding.

How long does the delivery take?

Our stock items are usually shipped within 1–3 business days. For custom orders or machines requiring assembly, the delivery time may be longer – you will be informed during the ordering process.

How much is the shipping?

For shipments up to 30 kg within Austria and Germany, we offer free delivery for orders over €50. For South Tyrol, free delivery applies to orders over €100. Orders below these thresholds are subject to shipping costs as per the table, which are kept to a minimum. https://neureiter-shop.at/versand

Do you also ship internationally?

Yes, we deliver throughout the European Union and directly to neighboring countries such as Switzerland and Norway. A complete list can be found here: https://neureiter-shop.at/versand

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email in the evening with shipping confirmation and, if applicable, the tracking number or shipping company contact information. This will allow you to track your delivery online.

What happens if I am not at home when the delivery is made?

The shipping provider will leave a notification card or attempt delivery again. Alternatively, you can change the delivery address or choose to pick up the package at a parcel shop – depending on the provider.

When will my order be processed?

Orders received on weekdays before approximately 14 PM are usually shipped the same day. For larger machines or special requests, a separate agreement will be made. Orders are processed during our office hours.

Can I choose my parcel delivery service?

Yes, for delivery addresses in Austria, you can choose between DPD parcel service and, for a small surcharge, Austrian Post. You can select your preferred parcel service when completing your order.

Returns, exchanges & cancellations
How can I return an item and how long do I have to do so?

As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the goods. To exercise this right, please fill out the withdrawal form and send it to us (see PDF). Neureiter Maschinen Then, please return the goods to us within a further 14 days or contact us.

Which items are excluded from the right of return or exchange?

The right of withdrawal does not apply to, for example, sealed hygiene or protective products, perishable goods, or custom-made items, provided this is clearly stated in the product description. Please check the respective product information in the online shop.

Do I have to pay the return shipping costs myself?

Yes – as a rule, the buyer bears the return shipping costs, provided there is no faulty or incorrect delivery. In the case of a defect or incorrect delivery, we will bear the return shipping costs.

How do I get my money back – and how long will that take?

After receiving and verifying the return, we will promptly refund the amount paid, but no later than 14 days, to the original payment method.

Can I exchange items instead of returning them?

Yes, of course! You can exchange items for other goods during the return process. Please contact our customer service to arrange this. Any price difference will be credited or deducted.

What should I do if I received a damaged or incorrect item?

Please photograph the damage or incorrect item upon receipt (pallet, packaging, label) and contact our customer service immediately (https://neureiter-shop.at/contact/). We will arrange a replacement or refund and cover the return shipping costs in this case.

How exactly does the right of withdrawal work?

You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods that you wish to cancel the contract (see form). Within a further 14 days, you must return the goods. Once we have received the goods and they are in good condition, we will issue a refund.

Payment
Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept the following payment methods: prepayment, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, Klarna, purchase on account (for existing customers), instant bank transfer, eps transfer, cash on delivery.

Is payment in the online shop secure?

Yes – our shop uses SSL encryption and selected payment partners to protect your data and payment transactions in the best possible way.

When will the amount be debited?

For credit card and PayPal payments, the charge is processed immediately after order completion. For advance payment, you transfer the amount yourself before shipment. For purchases on account, the invoice is issued with delivery, or separate payment terms apply.

Why was my payment declined?

A rejection can have many reasons (e.g., incorrect card details, exceeding the limit, technical problems). Please check your information and try again, or contact your bank or us if you are unsure.

Products and range
Do the product colors in the photos match reality?

We strive to display the colors as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in screen displays and lighting conditions, slight variations may occur.

Are there size charts or measurements available?

Yes – especially for accessories and tools, you will find detailed dimensions and specifications in the product description. Please check these before ordering.

Are custom modifications or made-to-measure products offered?

In certain cases, yes – especially with machines or complete systems, a custom adaptation is possible. Please contact us for a personalized quote.

When is customer service available?

Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 13:00 pm to 17:30 pm. Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Our opening hours in Kuchl and Söding are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm & 13:00 pm to 17:30 pm (see location hours).

Where can I find my order number or delivery note number?

You can find your order number in the order confirmation email. You will receive your delivery note number or tracking number in the shipping confirmation.

Can I visit the exhibition rooms?

Yes – we cordially invite you to our showrooms: our Kuchl location near Salzburg and our Söding branch near Graz. There you can experience the machines live and receive personal advice.

Where can I find the terms and conditions and privacy policy?

How does the warranty or guarantee work?

For commercial purchases, the statutory warranty periods under Austrian law apply. For branded products, additional manufacturer's warranties apply, if indicated. Please refer to the product description and/or the accompanying documents.

How do you handle my personal data?

We treat your data confidentially and use it exclusively for processing your order and within the scope of our legal obligations. Data will only be shared with third parties for payment and shipping purposes or if required by law.

What rights do I have as a consumer?
